YouthWorks is a non-profit organization in the community of Paso Robles that teaches us leadership skills, and job skills to prepare us for the working world.

  • The Women’s Legacy Fund of the Community Foundation San Luis Obispo donated $4,000 to support our new program, the Oak Park Coding Club.  Students from 2nd to 9th grade meet weekly to learn computer coding and application building from high school engineering students.

  • Central Coast Funds for Children gave $2,000 to YouthWorks.  This is the 4th year of support from CCFC.

  • USDA through the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County  granted YouthWorks $4,000 a year for 4 years to support the YW farm.  In 2017 the students built 18 raised beds, amended the soil, installed drip irrigation, planted a range of vegetables, and harvested 1,400 pounds of fresh produce that went home free to local families.

  •   The Youth Board of must!charities recognized YouthWorks with a grant of $10,000 to help YW hire more students and provide more activities to the youth of Oak Park.

  •   Federal Home Loan Bank San Francisco chose YouthWorks to receive an AHEAD grant of $25,000.  The purpose of the grant is to add 25 more students to YouthWorks over 18 months.
  •  Dignity Health donated $1,000 to help pay YW for helping elementary students with homework and providing childcare to little ones.

  •   Paso Robles Rotary Club provided YouthWorks with a grant to support our job skills program.
